羨ましい。俺は、さっきローソンで買った唐揚弁当のラップを破り、食うだけ。
独りで。こんな毎日が続く。この秋を乗り切っても、次にやってくるのは冬。
恋人に、配偶者に、親に、子供に、愛する人のために贈り物を選ぶ人々を尻目に、
俺は自分の欲望を満たすためだけの買い物をする。
「俺は自分の金は自分で全部使えるんだ、それが嬉しいんだ」
意識の外で自分に言い聞かせる。
愛する人のために身を削るのは、利己的に生きるよりずっと幸せなのだということに
気づかないふりをする。愛情を惜しみなく周りに与えれば、空いた部分は幸せで満たされる。
愛情を自分だけに向けて疑い深く生きていれば、大切に抱えているその愛情が
価値の無いものへと変質していく。一年中それが続く。
